Cedar Springs Seeks Public Input on 5-Year Parks and Recreation Plan

The City of Cedar Springs is asking residents to help shape the future of local parks, trails, open spaces and recreation facilities as it updates its 5-Year Parks and Recreation Plan.

The city is gathering feedback through an online survey, available at this link here.

Responses are due by Friday, September 11, at 5 p.m.

The plan is being updated to assess existing parks and recreation facilities and to define goals for future improvements. City officials said community feedback is an important part of the process because the goals and actions identified in the plan are intended to reflect residents’ needs and desires.

Some of the questions in the confidential survey asks whether respondents live within the City of Cedar Springs, their age range, who in their household most actively uses parks, trails or open spaces, and how important those amenities are to their household’s quality of life.

Residents are encouraged to complete the survey and share their input on current facilities and future recreation priorities before the September 11 deadline.
