Child Suffers Minor Injuries in Pedestrian Crash
CEDAR SPRINGS — A child sustained minor injuries Monday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle at the corner of Seventh and Pine Streets. Cedar Springs Fire Department and Rockford Ambulance responded to the scene at approximately 3:10 p.m. The Kent County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation and determined the child was crossing the street from the sidewalk when they were struck by a vehicle that was slowing to turn and had the right of way. Pieces of Hilltop History to Be Preserved for Future Generations
CEDAR SPRINGS — As the Hilltop building approaches demolition on the 100th anniversary of its construction, two familiar pieces of its history will be saved and preserved for the community.
